Six routes, each one operated by our own teams rather than subcontracted. Every one can be run privately on your dates, and each page carries the full day-by-day plan and the price table before you have to talk to anyone.

Ready-made or built from scratch

About two thirds of our guests start from one of these routes and change it — an extra two nights somewhere, a hotel swapped, a flight replaced by a drive. That is not a special request, it is the normal way a trip gets made here.

The other third send a blank page and a set of dates. Both cost the same to plan, and the planning is free until you accept a quote.

Questions travellers ask most

Can any of these run on my own dates?

Yes. Every route on this page runs privately on the dates you choose, for two travellers upwards. The fixed departures exist only for people who want to travel with others and share the cost.

How many people are on a set departure?

Between four and twelve. Below four we contact everyone booked and either run it as a smaller trip at the same price or offer a date change, and we tell you which within six weeks of departure.

Are single travellers welcome?

Yes, on both private and set departures. A single room supplement applies and is shown as its own line in the quote rather than folded into the price.

Can we combine two of these routes?

Often, but not by simply adding the days together. Two routes joined usually repeat a city and waste a domestic flight, so we redraw the middle rather than glue the ends.
